Pippa, Ian and Andrew will work throughout the week on repertoire especially chosen for the individuals involved. The week will culminate in a public performance on Friday night. Expect to be cast in duets, trios and ensembles from the baroque period through to the present day. There will be a chance to work individually with each of the tutors, concentrating on vocal technique and style, characterisation, movement and musicianship, as well as the rehearsing of the ensembles. All three tutors are highly experienced and will explore the potential of each singer in an atmosphere of fun and of support.The course is open to singers who are able to hold a solo line comfortably and are happy to arrive with their music memorised. Those interested in participating will be asked to provide a short video/recording in order to hear the colour and range of each voice.
