Step into ‘The Moment’ powered by The Lαβ where we fuse science with creativity and personal reflection. We’re on the cutting edge of emotional and cognitive neuroscience, capturing unique and transformative moments that push boundaries and delve into the human experience. Through EEG brain activity technology, we can visualise these moments, offering both internal and external reflection opportunities that nurture personal growth and community bonds.

Our collaborations with musicians explore the dynamic interplay between creativity and the mind, investigating how different music and instruments impact our brains. We always prioritise ethics, empowering individuals to choose their experience while measuring physiological and psychological effects. We’re an inclusive community, embracing people of all backgrounds and abilities.

We delve into the fascinating realm of brain waves, allowing us to peer into your mind as you engage in your chosen meaningful moment. Imagine the possibilities as we visualise your brain’s intricate dance of activity, providing a unique opportunity for deep reflection and insight.

We use a lightweight and easy to use ergonomically designed EEG Muse 2 headset which gives you freedom to explore your emotional or cognitive journey while it effortlessly captures your brain’s activity (eliminating messy gels and cumbersome wires). Portability allows you to move freely in your own space. The Muse headset empowers you with real-time insights, fostering a deeper connection with your own mind.

‘The Moment’ is more than a project; it’s a fresh dialogue, a tapestry of human experience. Join us on this journey into the depths of consciousness, where personal growth and community connections flourish.

This is a project which will be taking place across Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th July at The Music Summer School and Festival. There is no requirement to register in advance for this project – you will be able to participate should you so wish alongside the weekly teaching schedule.
