Voices of the Golden Age

Discover the polyphonic vocal music of the time of the Catholic Monarchs and Emperor Charles V in Renaissance Spain with choral singing. Learn and sing together the ‘ensaladas’ and ‘villancicos’ that show the cultural heritage of this country, with well-known songs like Riu Riu Chiu, La Bomba, and Hoy Comamos y Bebamos. This workshop, led by Cantoría’s director Jorge Losana, will introduce us to his fresh and spontaneous approach to understanding Renaissance music, allowing us to experience the vibrant colours and emotions of this thrilling music.
