Adult Vocal Ensembles with The Lyons Mouth
Our adult vocal ensembles invites singers to explore the full expressive range of the voice.
Led by The Lyons Mouth, this course moves fluidly between Renaissance madrigals and upper-voice polyphony, contemporary works, and newly arranged folk songs. Expect an imaginative and energising exploration of how text, drama and storytelling shape vocal sound across repertoire.

Participants will work with the same text-led and dramatic approach across styles, discovering how vocal colour, articulation and character transform storytelling.
Workshops on extended vocal techniques and imaginative approaches — from unconventional sounds to rhythmic experimentation — encourage singers to expand their expressive palette.
Vocal Technique and Creative Development
This adult vocal ensembles combines creative exploration with practical tools. Participants will gain:

Afternoon sessions will be divided into small groups by level:

Preparation
Sheet music will be sent electronically in advance. As with all residential music courses, the more you invest beforehand, the more rewarding the week becomes.
