Sat 9th Aug 2025 (archive)
SS25

Holy Week was one of the most intense and emotional moments in Renaissance Spain. The liturgical music of the Tenebrae services by Tomás Luis de Victoria represents the pinnacle of Spanish mysticism. This music, composed in Rome but performed on multiple occasions in Spain, transports us to the heart of Spanish religious polyphony. Led by the voices of Cantoría, join for this recreation of the rite, bringing us to the emotional core of Renaissance Spain.
