In the year that we mark 50 years since the death of Dimitri Shostakovich (1906 to 1975), Leon Bosch leads the string ensemble towards a performance of Abram Stasevich’s 1960 Sinfonietta, an arrangement of Shostakovich’s String Quartet No.8 for String Orchestra and Timpani.
