String Ensemble

Join the String Ensemble Course at the Music Summer School and Festival for a fantastic week of music-making and technical growth. Open to all enthusiastic string players, this course offers the joy of playing together in a large ensemble while exploring two iconic works: Benjamin Britten’s Simple Symphony and Arvo Pärt’s Cantus in Memoriam Benjamin Britten. Under the expert guidance of Benjamin Nabarro, Rachel Roberts, Gemma Rosefield, and Levi Andreassen of Ensemble 360, participants will refine their ensemble skills, deepen musical understanding, and experience the thrill of collective performance in a supportive, dynamic environment.
