Join the Ferio saxophone Quartet for an evening of classical and contemporary music featuring works that showcase the brilliance of renowned composers. The concert opens with Bach’s intricate Fugue in G Minor followed by William Byrd’s elegant Pavane and Gigue. Barbara Thompson’s Saxophone Quartet No. 3 ‘Body Language’ is in the centre of the programme leading into the vibrant melodies of Bernstein’s West Side Story Suite. The quartet are then joined by Anna Tilbrook in an arrangement of Shostakovich’s lively Jazz Suite, arranged by Iain Farrington and Iturralde’s evocative “Memorias”
