Led by composer Pierre Alexandre Tremblay – Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana, Lugano and violin soloist Darragh Morgan ‘one of the most adventurous violinists around’ BBC Radio 3, this exciting course enables composers/music creators to develop a new work for violin and electronics. Through practical exploration, participants will examine the role of the performer, the function of the electronics, with reactive and/or interactive elements, and the crucial relationship between these components. The course is designed for both creatives composing in traditional and non traditional scoring formats which will be further explored.
