Graham Ross

Graham Ross has established an exceptional reputation as a sought-after conductor/composer with a broad repertoire.  He is co-founder/Principal Conductor of The Dmitri Ensemble and Director of the Choir of Clare College, Cambridge, whose international performances and extensive discography under his direction have received consistently high praise.

In demand as a regular guest conductor recent collaborations have included performances with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, London Mozart Players, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, BBC Singers, BBC Concert Orchestra, Danish National Symphony Orchestra, Aurora Orchestra, Australian Chamber Orchestra, Aalborg Symfoniorkester, Danish National Vocal Ensemble, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Norwegian Wind Ensemble, Ars Nova Copenhagen, and Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.

His work as a composer has included commissions from the BBC Concert Orchestra, City of London Sinfonia, National Youth Choir of Great Britain, Park Lane Group, and Wigmore Hall.

He is a regular contributor on BBC Radio, Artistic Director of Singers Abroad and Musique Cordiale International Festival, and a Trustee of the London Festival of Contemporary Church Music.  He studied at Clare College, Cambridge and the Royal College of Music, London.

Highlights for the 2025/26 season include BBC Proms with Danish National Vocal Ensemble, Haydn Creation in Provence and Cambridge, Handel Messiah with the OAE and Aalborg Symfoniorkester, and his debut at Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw.
