Adult Choral Summer School in the UK

Our adult choral summer school course in the UK offers a fully residential week of intensive ensemble singing under the direction of Robert Hollingworth. Designed for experienced adult singers, this course combines musical rigour with the immersion and community of a residential summer school setting.

Participants will rehearse and perform a programme chosen by Robert from some of his most cherished repertoire. Bach’s Lutheran Mass in F major is a hunting romp disguised as sacred music, while Handel’s Ode on the Birthday of Queen Anne – containing the radiant “Eternal source of light divine” – brings both elegance and exuberance to the week.

Two brilliant early Baroque miniatures by Schütz and Schein, alongside a touch of French colour from Rameau, create a richly varied programme that makes this adult choral summer school in the UK both demanding and deeply rewarding.
