Alessandra Palidda – Chief House Parent

Hello everybody, my name is Alessandra and I originally come from the very musical city of Milan, in Northern Italy. I have been really into classical music, especially singing, since a very early age, and have been in various choirs both in Italy and in the UK. I also pursued a career in historical musicology, and am a very keen recorder player. I have been coming to the Summer School for more years than I can remember, and am still in love with it! Apart from music (which is a big part of my life, but not not the whole of it!), I really enjoy the outdoors, especially camping, trekking, cycling and swimming in the sea. I’m also an avid traveller and I love learning and speaking other languages. Looking forward to meeting you all and making music together!
